Nixon x Primitive

Nixon watches limited edition collab with Paul Rodriguez‘s store Primitive. Available exclusively at primitive these bad boys are inspired by the team colours of LA basket ball team the LA lakers.
Given the attention Primitive is getting right now and the fact that the rubber player is fast becoming one of Nixon’s hottest styles these should be gone before you even noticed they were there!
Paul Rodriguez – Girl yeah right!
Remeber this?? P-Rod’s banging section from Girls 2003 release Yeah Right!! can you beleive its 6 years since that skate video came out? jesus i just called it a “video” for gods sake! Any way, came across it today and i never really paid much attention to the paul rodriguez section when it came out for some reason, but upon todays re-visit i couldn’t help but stick it in as a clip of the day.
P-Rod gets a bit of stick from pundits here and there filing his skating style under “robot”. well, i’m having none of that, the guy has steez and that’s the end of it. if anything his style should be filed under “casual”. anyway enjoy this blast from the past and don’t get down on your self when you start thinking about how old you were when you first saw it. furthermore, try not to then start thinking about how old you were when you saw girl skateboards mouse, that’ll really mess with you……
Nike SB January 09 | Nike SB Zoom Air Veloce
We’re back! It’s 2009 and well, on your marks…. go!
After the holiday season full of turkey, booze and plenty of films you’ve seen a million times before but for some reason don’t seem to get old, there is nothing like the first day back at work to bring you crashing back to earth!
That’s why we decided to kick the new year off by showing you a quick preview of Nike SB‘s January release. 5 shoes two of which are the new style the Zoom air Veloce. The Veloce is introduced in two colours, white / black and black / white, featuring aspects of the Zoom Tre AD, like the sole and tongue, but with a different twist.
In addition to this we have Nike give us a new colou in the ever timeless Nike dunk hi with colours by Mai Do. The p-rod (paul rodriguez 2) gets the forest green and lemon drop treatment while the classic Blazer premium SB comes in a really smooth purple with white out sole, definately our favourate of the collection! The Zoom Air Veloce looks interesting and is not so classically skate, then again neither was the Zoom Tre and look how well that did!
