Vans Andreas Wiig 2 snowboard boot

New for the winter 09/10 season, following Vans success with Andeas Wiig’s first pro boot last year (see article)we see the Vans Andreas Wiig 2 tech snowboard boot. It follows a similar colour scheme to last year and looks really fresh, just updating the plaid detail but leaving the rest of the boot’s look along gives a subtle but well done update to one of Vans best selling snowboard boots of last year.

November 11, 2008, blue skies and two thousand happy fans greeted 18 starters for the super-final at Atomic Superpark Dachstein. The level of riding was technical and extremely high. Wiig who barely made November 10th’s cut was predicted a favorite to win. His second run: switch bs9, fs10, bs rodeo9 allowed him to do just that and take first rank!

Vans is proud to introduce Andreas Wiig’s first signature model. The boots includes the Vans new Quadfit Asym-X thermal liner that works with the structure of the leg for superior fit, the Vans Flight Core Air Snowaffle Sole with a dual gel/air dampening cassette and RECCO® Rescue Reflectors. The boots also come in Black/White and Red/White/Blue.  Wiig took inspiration from his Viking roots for this boot which matches up with a snow jacket and trouser using an eye-catching yellow lumberjack plaid. If that is just a little too loud for your taste there is a classic looking grey and white pinstripe version.
