Bodega wall vinyl collection
Featured on Arkitip, check out the Bodega project which is a curated collection of large scale, eco-friendly, temporary indoor art. The concept is to make the art of emerging and established artists like Cody Hudson and Michael Leon, affordable and available to the public. Each piece is delivered as a complete package for the consumer and includes ready-to-apply art piece and tools for installation.
The wall art uses eco-friendly inks and vinyl to create layered die-cut, gallery quality vinyl that can be applied to any flat surface. The vinyl is low-tack and can be removed without damaging the wall however, the artwork cannot be reapplied to a surface after removal.
This is a step up from just hanging prints on your wall and gives a different twist on the modern living space. welcome to the 21st century….
Volcom swim “shred it” collection
Judging by the last week it definitely seems like spring is trying it’s hardest to power through so what else could be more topically than a post about Volcom’s new spring swim wear that should be hitting shops any day. This Spring season see’s the introduction of the distinctive Volcom “Shred It” group in their swimwear collection.
This collection consists of a one piece and a bikini style, for which the inspiration came from what is happening in denim-shredded, ripped and torn apart denim trend was translated to create this group. The fashion on the streets was transformed to style on the beach… Biker jackets are “in” and with that comes ripped tee’s and subsequently ripped jeans?? what just a minute is this the early 90’s… no, well thought i’d check, so odd, i had really bad deja vu there for a second!!
anyway, jokes aside we really like this concept and not seen much like it about yet. we also like the way the ripped effect on the one piece forms the Volcom stone logo. Look out for this one at all Volcom swimwear stockists.
