Nixon Rubber Player June Release

Out today the 3rd intallment of Nixon watches 4X4 rubber player. To recap, every month from april to July Nixon release a new colour of the Rubber player watch. the colours are kept stictly secret so we don’t know what’s coming until it hits the shops, pretty cool eh?! We had blue for April, red for May and this Months colour in the Nixon Rubber Player is green. This only leaves one more colour released on July 1st. I’m claiming yellow but your guess is as good as mine!

Well, we’ve seen the it pioneered by the Nike ID studio for the past few years with great success and now Nike turn their technology to Converse. The Converse One program some how seems better than the Nike ID program.

If you haven’t come across the Nike ID website, essentially you can colour up a shoe of your choice exactly how you like and add your own ID tag for ultimate personalization. This is a great idea from start to finish and we’re stoked that they have rolled it out for Converse. Whether it’s the combinations of colours or the styles offer we’re not sure, we just like it and think it suits Converse as a brand! Check it at for your self at the Converse website

Vans Era LX

The Vans Era shoe was the first shoe in the Vans range to feature the off the wall logo way back in the days of pool skating and fish tail boards. The Vans Era is an update of the “Authentic” featuring a padded collar, outside heel and the Vans classic waffle sole.

The Vans Era was made legendary in the world of skate shoes by Tony Alva and the Dogtown crew, subsiquently becoming skateboarding’s first shoe back in 1976. Over 30 years on and the Era is still an iconic shoe and this LX version of the shoe adds some new depth. Cool multi coloured red, yellow and blue colour blocking mixed with different material applications really set this Vans shoe appart from all its Era brothers.

DVS Daewon CT Almost

DVS and Almost skateboards have collaborated this spring summer to give us the Daewon CT Almost shoe. This is Daewon Song’s 10th pro shoe on DVS shoes and as always it’s looking nice. Features include vulcanized out sole with black suede upper and some really nice colourful pinstripe detail on the collar. This DVS shoe takes the basic black suede look but adds some really vibrant orange pop colour which works really well.

Back to work with the blues after a scoarching back holiday? Well, here’s something to cheer you up, the new Supra skytop high top trainers from Supra footwear. These skytops feature some really nice material application utilizing the ever glamorous faux croc in black coupled with a luxurious black suede. Not an outrageous colourway for a Supra skytop or for supra that matter. however, the back to basics black upper with white vulcanized outsole caught our eye.

DC shoes Josh Kalis white / grey leather

It doesn’t feel like a decade ago that Josh Kalis had his first pro shoe on DC shoes, but i i just realised that it pretty much is! time flies that’s for sure and DC as a once humble skate shoe brand have come along way. Producing quality skate shoes just wasn’t enough and so with the help of a mega ramp, a large wall, excellent snowboard and surf teams and the MTN LAB, they are now a house hold name.

Kalis is one of my all time favourite skateboards and still in my opion holds the title for most stylish tre flip, and that is one hell of a claim. Kalis has been with DC shoes a long time and this his 7th shoe on the brand is well deserved. New for spring 09, the Osiris bronx silver leather high top skate shoe. Osiris seem to have a history of stand out styles, we had the infamous Osiris D3, then years later they release the Osiris abel collaboration and now riding the wave of popularity in high tops we have the Osiris bronx skate shoe. Available in 7 colours this season and featured here in the loud but refined silver / white / black.

Due for release @ Supreme on the 19th March, here we have the latest Vans x Supreme collaberation. The are two vans styles the Vans Authentic and the classic Vans Half cab. The shoes both feature canvas uppers and leather insoles and lining. The colurways have a definite 80′s feel and we love all the colour options. Both the Vans Authentic and Half cab are available in green, red black and white with a really nice speckle texture to the upper.

Another banger from Supreme and Vans, available in store in the US from the 19th of march and in Japan later this month.

It’s been a bumper month for Benny Fairfax this month, not only do he finish runner up in the game of S.K.A.T.E. the battle of the berrics to skate machine Mike Mo Capaldi, but he turns pro on Stereo skateboards and gets his own commemorative battle of the berrics campus vulc colourway in Adidas skate! Our man is definitely flying the british flag high and well deserved.

The Adidas campus colourway features grey suede and blue leather dip colour blocking and white out sole and a laser etched battle of the berrics logo detail on the heel.  It doesn’t look like these Adidas campus are going to be made available for general release however it looks like you will get the chance to win a set, keep your eye on the berrics for details.

DVS Girls Gracie low white grey leather

It feels like summer is really trying hard to push spring into getting on with it now that march is in full swing. Don’t tell that to the inhabitants of south west England though they’d never believe you!

Along with spring comes the fresh product and it’s our job to keep you up to date on the hottest stuff out there! New stuff from DVS shoes drops this month into all good skate shops and footwear retailers. One hot pick is from the girls DVS shoe line, the Gracie low white grey leather. Supra have definitely set the bar high of inovation in the last few years since it’s inception. As far as skateboard footwear goes Supra is with out debt the most off the wall skate shoe brand out there. now, with release of Supra‘s spring 09 NS collections we see bounds being pushed even further.

DC shoe co have been heavily involved in snowboarding for years now, so it was inevitable that with the success of DC shoes’ Snow boot and outer wear lines and not to meantion the infamous DC Mountain Lab DVD’s, that DC would eventually launch DC snowboards. This winter saw the release of their first season to limited stockists world wide, compramising of 4 different models the HKD, MLF, XFB, and PJB with Devun Walsh and Ikka Backstrom pro models. Another spring 09 season is here and there is so much exciting stuff out there this year! February see’s the release of the Vans Vault “Bad Brains” colourway. The Vans Chukka boot comes in canvas and rasta vulc with the Bad Brains logo on the sole. the super subtle but effective “rasta” colour detail really lifts the pop appeal of the shoe whilst not over doing it.
