The Nike Hachi QS has a qwerky style of its owen combining elements from the Toki and Blazer models plus a hint of the old Sting runner. These two colourways also feature Nike vinatge tongue clamp labels and use the off-white sole wash to give a vintage yet up to date feel if that is not a contradiction in terms! Both colourways are available now.

Supra x DQM Skytop

You know you’ve made it as a footwear brand when you start doing cross brand collabs with New York skate boutiques. Supra stepping the game up with the Supra x DQM Heartbreaker Skyyop. Muska was at Daves quality meat on the 12th of this month signing stuff and “rapping” with the kids.

the shoe looks pretty nice however you’d be pretty lucking to get hold of a pair, keep your eyes peel and your ebay Supra Skytop search results bookmarked.

Pointer Fairbank spring 2010

Fresh for spring 2010 Pointer footwear comes with some updated colours in one of our favourite casual sneakers the Fairbank. The Pointer Fairbank is available in four colours this season, electric blue, black, natural and white, but the white for us is the stand out piece giving a nice mid 90′s feel utilising the much overlooked gum sole.

Supra Cuban 1.5 spring 2010

New for spring 2010 Supra have updated the Cuban to give birth to the Supra Cuban 1.5! The introduction of laces instead of of the chain gives it a less del-boy feel and almost re-invents the shoe. 686 x New Balance

When it comes to snow / street wear cross overs no one does it better than 686. Amongst the many limited edition products for this season from 686 this one caught our eye the most. 686 and shoe UK shoe brand New Balance have come together and produced a snowboard boot remake of the classic MT580 sneaker.

“Based upon the original MT580 sneaker, the 686 design team recreated a fully functional, technically advanced snowboard boot with a sneaker-like fit. The intense process utilized New Balance’s proprietary features like Rollbar® and Abzorb®, as well as combining BOA’s® proven Focus® lacing system. The end result is a true masterpiece of New Balance’s quality footwear heritage and 686’s technical snowboarding history.”

it definitely seems that the sneaker to snowboard boot cross over is taking effect what with the new Nike snowboard boot range and DC using the manteca silhouette for ever. maybe it’s played out already or maybe its just getting started, all we know is we like it! to accompany this 686 release New Balance have also made the MT580 in the exact same colours as the snowboard boot…
