Due for release @ Supreme on the 19th March, here we have the latest Vans x Supreme collaberation. The are two vans styles the Vans Authentic and the classic Vans Half cab. The shoes both feature canvas uppers and leather insoles and lining. The colurways have a definite 80′s feel and we love all the colour options. Both the Vans Authentic and Half cab are available in green, red black and white with a really nice speckle texture to the upper.

Another banger from Supreme and Vans, available in store in the US from the 19th of march and in Japan later this month.

This is a limited edition project that will span the next four months with a new colourway in the Player rubberised released each month. Tokidoki have got their hands on two different Skullcandy headphone styles, the Gi and smoking bud earbud, which they have coloured up with Tokitoki‘s ever original and vibrant styling. These Headphones will appear in the Skullcandy 09 core only range and should be available from all good stockists around April.

New for spring 2009 DC shoes unveil the Bruce Irons signature sandal! Bruce Irons is the first pro surfer on DC to get a signature sandal and according to DC it was “built from the ground up specifically for bruce”. Being the longest standing surf pro on DC shoes bruce irons is definitely the right choice for DC’s first pro sandal. The sandal features a tough rubber outsole with stamp hawaiian islands graphic on the bottom. Also, the foot bed is anatomically correct to fit your foot better and wear more comfortably. 2008 has without doubt been a tough year for the worlds economy and I’m sure the majority of you out there will agree that you have felt the squeeze on some level over the past 12 months. As our economy contracts it follows that advertising budgets are one of the first things to get cut, and the board sports industry is no exception. So, with less “paid for” coverage available to riders and preferential treatment obviously given to the bigger names it’s going to be interesting to see how the Transworld exposure meter pans out moving into 2009 whether it be in Skateboarding, Snowboarding or surf.

The November Surf exposure meter hasn’t seen much movement and the top five surfers all still remain unchanged since the last Transworld surf exposure meter for October. Jordy Smith still tops the pile with 3200 points followed closely by Mick Fanning.

So with exposure now coming less and less from print advertising all Surfers are going to have to work even hard if they want to knock Jordy Smith off the top spot. Who knows maybe this will open things up for some unexpected movements up the surf exposure rankings in the new year! More info—> Transworld Business

Stussy and In4mation for a second time paying tribute to something that is very special to both parties. DVS Shoe Company is happy to announce that they have re-signed Granger Larsen to a new contract, his first as a professional, through 2011. Larsen was one of the hottest amateur prospects coming out of America the last few years and it was never more evident than his performance and domination at the 2008 NSSA Nationals. From Lower Trestles, Granger headed straight to J-Bay, South Africa for his first taste of the WCT in the Billabong Pro. Granger advanced through the trials and into the main event, eventually finishing =33rd to 3X World Champ, Andy Irons. More –> DVS Surf

As we enter the 4th quarter of 2008, Jordy Smith takes the top spot from Mick Fanning in the ever import race for max coverage. The coverage standard from transworld is ‘the’ indicator of who’s doing it in the media whether it be ads, interviews, photo’s or what ever.
