Tanks and work shorts are the order of the day at the moment what with all this nice spring whether we are currently seeing. Volcom have just released the above in a press release highlighting so key pieces from their SS11 collection.

When it comes to snow / street wear cross overs no one does it better than 686. Amongst the many limited edition products for this season from 686 this one caught our eye the most. 686 and shoe UK shoe brand New Balance have come together and produced a snowboard boot remake of the classic MT580 sneaker.

“Based upon the original MT580 sneaker, the 686 design team recreated a fully functional, technically advanced snowboard boot with a sneaker-like fit. it definitely seems that the sneaker to snowboard boot cross over is taking effect what with the new Nike snowboard boot range and DC using the manteca silhouette for ever. maybe it’s played out already or maybe its just getting started, all we know is we like it! to accompany this 686 release New Balance have also made the MT580 in the exact same colours as the snowboard boot…

To celebrate 10 years of Moto X mayhem Metal Mulisha have teamed up with action sports footwear veterans Etnies to collaborate on two shoes. The Etnies Chrome in black gold and the Etnies Fader in black white, both featuring Metal Mulisha branded print detail.

Metal Mulisha have been directly involved with Etnies since team rider Brian Deegan co-founded the Metal Mulisha in 1999. Fellow Metal Mulisha members Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Todd Potter, Josh Grant, Seth Enslow, Luke Urek, Nixey Danielson and Beau Manley all ride for Etnies so this collaboration seems to make perfect sense. Matix clothing launch headphones range

New for holiday 09 Matix clothing announce the launch of there new headphone range. These look super nice and even though the action sports x headphone market has started to get a bit cluttered with a number of brands jumping on the headphone band wagon, we think these look really nice and have a good point of difference.

Rodeo 900s and 1080 Corks Seal The Deal For Eero Ettala’s First Place Victory

More than 100,000 spectators turned out to see some of the world’s best snowboarders battle it out at the Hyundai Card Super Match in downtown Seoul, Korea last week. DVS’ Eero Ettala went huge and took home first in the big air competition

“I was stoked to win in Seoul in front of 100,000 spectators,” says Ettala. “It was by the far the biggest crowd I have ever competed in front of. I also learned a new trick—a double backside rodeo 9 mute.”

DVS Snow Team Manager Ricky Melnik is stoked on the win as well. “I’m not sure I would be able to tie my shoes in front of 100,000 spectators let alone land a double backside rodeo 9 mute. Congrats E Rock!”

Nixon Rubber Player June Release

Out today the 3rd intallment of Nixon watches 4X4 rubber player. To recap, every month from april to July Nixon release a new colour of the Rubber player watch. the colours are kept stictly secret so we don’t know what’s coming until it hits the shops, pretty cool eh?! We had blue for April, red for May and this Months colour in the Nixon Rubber Player is green. This only leaves one more colour released on July 1st. I’m claiming yellow but your guess is as good as mine!

Our friends at Dephect clothing have just release their spring summer collection. The line has some really strong t-shirt prints and great cut n sew pieces. the jackets are our favourite with the Dephect “mix” jacket being the piece in focus.
